Try new versions first
New versions of the app reach testers a few days before the App Store and Google Play. Join to use new features early and tell us what does not work, before everyone gets it.
Android
Open the link with the Google account you use on Google Play and choose to become a tester. Google Play then offers the test version as an update to the app; it can take a few minutes to appear.
iPhone and iPad
Install Apple's TestFlight app, then open the invitation on your iPhone or iPad. TestFlight installs the test version in place of the App Store one and keeps it up to date.
What is new
Each version, and what changed in it, is listed in the changelog. The section at the top is the version being tested.
Telling us what broke
Report a problem or a wish on Phabricator, Wikimedia's task tracker; a screenshot and the name of your device help. In TestFlight you can also send feedback with a screenshot from the app itself.
Leaving the test
You can leave at any time: on Android from the same Google Play link, on iOS by removing the app in TestFlight and installing it again from the App Store. Your edits stay on the wiki either way.
